Designing schools is one of the most challenging but rewarding things we do. Schools matter. They shape our future because they help shape young people.

They are a primary strand of our work and we have a wealth of experience gained by working with inspiring clients and leading thinkers in education as well as the students themselves. That experience is universal across the independent and maintained sectors and ranges from children’s centres and nurseries through to 14-18 colleges.

We enjoy the intuitive aspects - exploring the kinds of spaces that enable young people to learn whilst feeling safe and supported - but we are also good at the pragmatic aspects too and, more recently, have risen to the challenge of delivering exciting schools within increasingly narrow cost and programme parameters.

This approach and the deep knowledge of education design embedded in the practice has resulted in an impressive array of awards for inspirational and innovative education design.
