Planning Awards

The masterplan for the UCL East Campus in the Queen Elizabeth Park is in the running for a Planning Award for outstanding masterplanning work.

Nicholas Hare Architects was part of the LDA Design team to masterplan the new 125,000m²UCL Campus, developed in partnership with the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).

The landscape-led masterplan was borne out of the key principles of connectivity and legibility. The plan delivers a radical new model for a university campus: a rich, outward-facing pattern of places well integrated into the community and surroundings.
