NLA Summer Academy

Carol Lelliott, partner here at NHA, participated in the inaugural New London Architecture (NLA) Summer Academy for young people aged 14-19, helping them learn about shaping cities, and the variety of careers available within the built environment sector.

Young people, all from London schools, collaborated to produce proposals for a cultural offer designed to contribute to the placemaking of Silvertown in East London. They presented their ideas and took part in a speed mentoring session on the final friday afternoon before celebrating their achievements at a reception for friends and families.
