NHA preferred bidder in Bucks

Nicholas Hare Architects working together with BAM Construction have been selected as preferred bidder for the new Aylesbury Vale Academy in Buckinghamshire.

The Academy is sponsored by the Church of England Diocese of Oxford and Buckinghamshire County Council. The new building will accommodate 1500 students aged from 11 to 18, and is to be sited at the heart of the new Berryfields housing development. The Academy forms part of the new district centre creating a focal point for the new community.

The construction of the new building will start on site in early 2012 with the Academy moving in for September 2013.
