LABC Award for Building Excellence

The recent RIBA Award winner Noel-Baker and St Martins School has been highly commended at another award; the East Midlands LABC Award for Building Excellence.

These awards are all about the essence of good buildings. Finalists are judged on "Excellence" shown from a construction and technical building control point of view and recognise not just buildings, but celebrate their design and construction teams that have tussled with technical issues, difficult sites and found innovative and creative solutions.

The regional awards ceremony were held on 4 July.
