Nicholas Hare Architects are pleased to have contributed to the new website, Building Knowledge – a best practice resource for Further Education (FE) colleges and property professionals.

Supported by the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), the website will be launched at the AoC conference on 29 January. It has been put together by the SFA/Association of Colleges Forum, a collaborative group of building professionals and colleges originally established by the RIBA to promote excellence in FE design. As keen members of the group, we have helped to write some of the guidance and the case studies.

Carol Lelliott, our partner responsible for the multi-award winning Joseph Chamberlain College, has co-authored the guide to good client relationships – an insight into how a committed client can really transform the outcome of a project through a combination of leadership and some useful inside knowledge. Whilst intended for FE college use, the guide is also good reading for anyone about to embark on a building project.
