Cambridge demolition

Demolition of the existing villa on the site is almost complete prior to the commencement of the construction of the new building, with the villa demolition being 'controlled' in order to enable architectural salvage of materials such as brickwork and roof slates.

The new School of Humanities and Social Sciences for the University of Cambridge will bring together a number of different research groups (Interdisciplinary Geographical Centres) and the new department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS).
