Nicholas Hare Architects are pleased to announce the official opening of Birmingham Ormiston Academy, an independent state-funded 14-19 academy specialising in Creative, Digital and Performing Arts. The school is sponsored by the Ormiston Trust and Birmingham City University and supported by founding partners Maverick TV and the BRIT School, itself a creative and performing arts school in Croydon, which raised performers such as Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis and Adele.

The Academy is at the forefront of the development of the arts and creative industries and provides superb facilities for academic, vocational and extra-curricular activities, including a theatre, a TV studio, four dance and six drama studios in addition to general teaching classrooms.
